Hey.
How you doin'?
I'm good, too. What's goin on with you?
Nice, dude. Me? Well let's see....
This summer I've sat inside quite a bit, but I did get out occasionally.
I've worked as a cook, dishwasher, pickle-maker, sheetrocker, kraut-cutter, painter, carnie (dream come true, lemme tell you), farm-boy, and assistant to a luch lady.
I've driven more standards and touched more vegetables that begin with C than ever before.
I've worked two jobs that were ridiculously out-of-the-way.
I went to the Union Fair.
I've had a million good days in a row with Hanna.
I learned how the bumper cars come apart.
I've met people from England, Florida, Ireland, California, and many other places.
I've moved a lot of heavy stuff.
Shelley and I have got to watch our amazing daughter develop her sense of humor, get up and start walking around, pick out her favorite foods (green beans, don't ask me why), and get really really dirty.
I tried my first Bloody Mary. I didn't like it all that much.
I watched a lot of porn, thanks mostly to Mariel and Dodge.
I've stuck with my decrees, I've stood up to authority, and I've been significantly less wishy-washy, even if it means playing the asshole.
So all-in-all, I smile when I think of this summer.
Thanks for listening,
My fear of elljay drama not withstanding, we should do this more often.
I miss our talks.

Hey maybe you can start your own traveling Maine Fair or New England and then you could be a carnie for your own company but not be too far away from Seren=)
